Poster Design for Music Hall

2009 has been busy too. One of the projects was to provide a design for a poster for a Music Hall show. Here is the first sketch. It doesn't look too promising does it?



And this is how it ended up some days and a lot of work later:



The text was added on the computer with my programme of choice: Paint Shop Pro.

The Music Hall was in a village in the countryside not far from where Toulouse-Lautrec was born, so it seemed only right to take a nod in his direction, but without resorting to copying anything he did. And there were other constraints too, all of which made it a nice challenge. T-shirts were printed, so I bought several of course!
